Classes for Children aged 0-12

Babies, Toddlers & Preschoolers

Our 0-3 and 2-4 Classes

Engaging songs & activities, movement and stories to encourage children to make the music their own.

Reception & Key Stage 1

Classes for children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2

Learning the language of music in a fun and playful way, the ideal foundation for later instrumental tuition. Children acquire a good sense of rhythm and tuning, and learn to read basic music notation – no home practice required.

Key Stage 2 - Applied Musicianship

Classes for children in Year 3 and beyond

Children continue discovering and mastering increasingly advanced concepts, learning the nuts and bolts of music practically through continued whole-body movement, singing games and instruments. All children learn to play the recorder, and also have the option to bring other instruments they play to the lessons.  Learning to play by ear, sight-reading and harmonising are all covered, developing well-rounded musicians
